Entering the land of 30

Right now I am sitting on my beautiful back porch writing while my beautiful baby boy sleeps soundly in his crib- which he loves so much.

Today, I effectively release and let go of my 20's... And glad to do it. My 30's WILL be the best years of my life- I declare THAT!  

This year in particular my Maker has shown me himself and how much He loves. He has taken me out of captivity and I must admit that I am blessed beyond, WAAaay, beyond what I deserve. I have learned so much...

About love.

About sacrifice.

About faith.

About believing God when you feel you like you just can't.

About loyalty.

Generous grace.

And RECEIVING what the Word says about ME...

My life is not my own. Thank God for that, thank God for His Grace!

Oh, where would we be if The Lord had not fought for me, for us? He is for us! 

I am so incredibly blessed and I thank God for His provision and daily work in my life. 

I can't wait to see what He will do in this next chapter of life! :-)

Time OUT

Today I was taking a time out... Time to enjoy my little guy-- the gift, the treasure that God has given me. Truly, every- single- day is a new gift to open with Lonnie bear. 

Today started off, well, not that great. In the grand scheme of things- it's just work. 

So I decided to enjoy what is most precious to me:-)

Watching him slide down the slides and smiling, running, JUMPING, saying Mama- that's all I really need to make my day totally better. 

I'm cooking now- for him, for my hubby, watching My bright--eyed little boy sit in HIS chair watching a movie that I watched when I was a little girl. When the world WAS better- WHO knows what is in store for tomorrow. Today- right now- I'm not worried about it, I'm just gonna sit here and enjoy the lasting work God gave me... To take of my precious son.

stepping out

This blog is a big step for me. I have battled with "what will people think" so much that I haven't done things that I have wanted to do.... Or, that God wants me to do.      So, I'm stepping out.  

I hope that as you read this blog... You realize that I'm a person, a person that has a past, but also has a future. 

Most of this blog will be about God, because NOW he is my life. He has done so incredibly much for me, He has shown up in ways that could only be of His nature.   He has proven time and time again that He is FOR us, loves us, forgives us, enjoys us, laughs with us, and He WANTS to show us WHO HE IS.   By the way, if you want to know more about how God wants to prove and show himself to us- hop on over to www.thefaithbuilder.com
